Family Star – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Family Star mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Family Star

Family Star is a family routine and rewards management app designed to help parents organise tasks, routines, and rewards for their children. The App operates primarily on-device and does not require account registration.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. Children may only use the App under adult supervision.

3. Subscriptions

Family Star may offer optional paid Premium subscriptions. Subscriptions are auto-renewing and are charged to your Apple ID unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID account settings. Subscription pricing, availability, and included features may vary by region and may change over time in accordance with App Store policies.

4. Premium Features

Certain features of the App are available only with an active Premium subscription. The specific features included in Premium may change over time and are described within the App.

5. Subscription Expiry and Feature Access

If your Premium subscription ends, access to Premium-only features will be disabled. Your existing data will remain on your device unless you delete the App.

6. Data Storage and Responsibility

All data created in the App is stored locally on your device by default. Backup and restore features, if available, are optional and may require a Premium subscription. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your data, including creating and maintaining backups where supported. Deleting the App, reinstalling it, or switching devices without restoring a backup may result in permanent data loss.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
